The expressions above are for the emotions of pleased, surprised and cheerful. There are no sad expressions because Freya's role is offering support and positiveness to the dilemma. The story is heavily light-hearted due to the young audience.

This is a drawing of Freya walking forward, which will be seen in the scene when Freya is first introduced. I have drawn her with a smile and large, welcoming eyes to immediately show the audience, as well as the character Oakley that she is friendly.
In this drawing, I have included annotations. To make it highly visible, I have tried to make obvious of the character's species by having features of pointy ears. Freya's big eyes will help create and emphasise her emotions in the animation.

I would like the character Freya to have warm orange colours as her main fur. This image is the different orange tones I have put together as ideas. The top length colour is a photograph of a sunset, which I think is suitable as the warmth of the colour could symbolise and complement Freya's friendliness and kindness to Oakley.
The orange will stand out against the greens of the forest. Freya's paws will be a dark brown and her eyes will be a sky blue, that could create meaning on her character's pureness, as although Freya did not know Oakley, she decided to help him anyway.
This is a drawn concept of what the scene will look like, with the branch Oakley will be sitting on before he falls off. Below are drawings of the environment for the forest floor. The tree trucks will be a dark brown and the tree leaves a dark green. The dark green will then contrast nicely with the light green grass for the forest floor.
